My friend Donna and I have dramatically different preferences in many things, temperature being one of them. She loves the summertime heat, and I love the rain and cold weather. During the year that we shared an apartment, I managed to drag her to the beach near our place in the winter. This was one of about three shots I managed to get while she waited in the car, muttering about what kind of idiot wants to be at the beach when there’s snow on the ground.
