We went tidepooling at More Mesa this afternoon. It was so nice to get outside, and be by the water. These barnacles were clinging to the side of a huge blob of tar (like, the size of a moving truck) that had bubbled up out of the beach.

I think they look like turtle flippers; Dan thinks dinosaur teeth.
