I come from a family of makers. At any given time, I have more projects going on
around me than I can count, and my hands are nearly always busy with
something. I've been facsinated with photography since I was about eight years old, and I've been knitting and making quilts for just about as long. I love to try new things, especially if they are tactile in some way. Recently, I've been enjoying spinning, feltmaking, collage, and paper and book arts. I'm also being drawn to mixed media lately, probably because it allows me to bring together several of my interests at once.
My husband Dan and I love to cook, travel and photograph together. Two of our most memorable trips were our honeymoon to Spain and Portugal in the fall of 2002, and our trip to Italy the year before. We also had a great time in New Orleans last, and are looking forward to some North American adventures later this summer and fall. |
