My ability to strike a balance between business requirements, technical considerations, and usability concerns, and to facilitate communication between technical and non-technical personnel, enables me to build consensus across all segments of an organization.

I excel at analyzing and streamlining business processes and workflows, and in translating this understanding into clear and concise requirements documentation, functional specifications, and user interfaces.

I offer services on a contract basis through my company, Ginkgo Leaf Consulting, LLC. With over 15 years of experience, my specialties include:

• Analyzing and documenting real-life workflows

• Recommending workflow optimizations as necessary

• Creating data integration structures, processes and interfaces

• Designing clear and efficient user interfaces for both customer-facing and internal applications

I've worked on projects for companies of all sizes, from Fortune 100 businesses to small start-ups, spanning many industries. Much of my recent work has been in the financial and travel domains, in the areas of customer relationship managment, content managment, and customer loyalty/points programs. Previous projects have included manufacturing collaboration software and workflow consulting for a large government agency.

Technical Writing

My technical writing experience includes functional requirements and specifications, user manuals, and training materials. I have also co-written technical white papers on the subjects of digital imaging and photography.
